Hermes Kelly 28cm Anemone Evergrain Palladium Hardware

The Hermes Kelly 28cm Anemone Evergrain is a striking interpretation of the iconic Kelly silhouette, distinguished by the intense Anemone color and the refined texture of Evergrain calfskin. This combination creates a sophisticated balance between vivid color and understated leather character, giving the bag a distinctive presence while preserving the timeless architecture of the Kelly.

The Hermes Kelly 28cm Anemone Evergrain showcases the structured proportions associated with the Kelly 28. Evergrain is characterized by a fine, regular grain with a soft, supple feel and a subtle satin-like appearance. Hermès describes Evergrain as having a discreet printed grain, while examples of Kelly 28 in Evergrain have been documented by major auction houses.

Anemone brings a vivid violet tone to the design, creating a rich visual contrast with the cool palladium-plated hardware. The metallic finish complements rather than competes with the saturated leather, highlighting the signature turn-lock, structured handle, and refined hardware details. Comparable Hermès Kelly 28 examples with palladium hardware measure approximately 28 × 20 × 10 cm.

The Hermes Kelly 28cm Anemone Evergrain captures the distinctive character of a classic Kelly while allowing the leather and color to become the focus. Its carefully defined silhouette and fine-grained leather create an elegant foundation for the expressive Anemone shade.

For collectors of distinctive Hermès handbags, the Hermes Kelly 28cm Anemone Evergrain offers a compelling combination of iconic design, saturated color, refined Evergrain calfskin, and palladium hardware. It is a sophisticated statement piece that brings a contemporary sense of color to one of Hermès’ most recognizable handbag silhouettes.
